1-Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of Ganga Expressway in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The 594 Km long six-lane Expressway will be built at a cost of over Rs 36, 200 crore.
प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने उत्तर प्रदेश के शाहजहांपुर में गंगा एक्सप्रेस-वे की आधारशिला रखी। 594 किलोमीटर लंबा व छह लेन का एक्सप्रेस-वे 36, 200 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक की लागत से निर्मित किया जाएगा।
2-As a part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Nagendra Nath Sinha, Secretary, Department of Rural Development, Ministry of Rural Development launched the overdraft facility of Rs. 5,000 to verified women SHG members under DAY-NRLM.
आजादी के अमृत महोत्सव के क्रम में ग्रामीण विकास मंत्रालय के ग्रामीण विकास विभाग के सचिव नागेन्द्र नाथ सिन्हा ने दीनदयाल अंत्योदय योजना-राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण आजीविका मिशन (डीएवाई-एनआरएलएम) के तहत सत्यापित महिला स्वसहायता समूह सदस्याओं के लिये पांच हजार रुपये की ओवरड्राफ्ट सुविधा को आरंभ किया।
3-Veteran Congress leader and former Union Minister R L Jalappa died in Kolar. He was 96.
दिग्गज कांग्रेसी नेता और पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री आरएल जलप्पा का कोलार में निधन हो गया। उनकी उम्र 96 वर्ष थी।
4-The ninth session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations (UN) Convention against Corruption concluded in Egyptian city of Sharm El-Sheikh.

5-The King of Bhutan, His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, conferred its highest civilian award, the Order of the Druk Gyalpo, on Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on the occasion of the country’s National Day.

6-Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari has said that the government plans to set up 35 Multi-Modal Logistics Parks in the country at a total cost of 50,000 crore rupees.

भारत सरकार और जर्मनी के विकास बैंक ‘केएफडब्ल्यू (क्रेडिटनस्टाल्ट फर विडेराउफबौ)’ ने सूरत मेट्रो रेल परियोजना के लिए 442.26 मिलियरन यूरो के ऋण समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर किए।
10-A programme to support India-US S&T- based entrepreneurial initiatives that address the development and implementation of next- generation clean and renewable energy, energy storage, and carbon sequestration has been announced to tackle climate and clean energy challenges.
